Drafting & Design Technology

Drafting and Design Technology is a program for students interested in engineering drawings. The program teaches computer aided drafting (C.A.D.), the latest technology in creating accurate and speedy drawings. Courses include:

  • Introduction to Drafting Design -1 credit course

  • Intermediate Mechanical Design -1 credit course

  • Advanced Mechanical Design -1 credit course

  • 3-D Model Design -1 credit course

  • Introduction to Architectural Design -1 credit course

  • Architectural Design II -1 credit course

Students also have an opportunity to participate in written and skill tests at Wallace State Community College. Depending on the student's knowledge and skills the student could earn up to 12 hours of college credit in Drafting at Wallace.
