Horticulture/Floriculture

Horticulture develops skills necessary for the successful employment in the production, management, and sales aspects of the ornamental Plant Bio Systems industry. Classes include:

• Landscape Design and Management -1 credit

• Sports and Recreation Turf -1 credit

• Floral Design and Interior-scaping -1 credit

• Greenhouse and Nursery Operations -1 credit

Students also have an opportunity to participate in written and skill tests at Wallace State Community College. Depending on the student's knowledge and skills the student could earn up to 9 hours of college credit in Horticulture at Wallace.
