Health Science
Health Science offers flexibility in classes to meet the needs of
students interested in a career in health care. The curriculum
includes integrated academics and technology. The program includes a
clinical component that allows students to learn in the actual work
setting. There are uniform and immunization requirements that must
be met prior to clinical experience. Classes include:

Clinical Spectrum/Academic Foundations -1 credit

Clinical Majors (Therapeutic Innovations; Dynamics of
Diagnostics) -1 credit

Health Science Continuum (Medical Terminology, Children's
Health Issues, Senior Citizen's Health Issues, Mental Health
Issues) - 2 credits
Students who complete the necessary requirements may obtain
Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
Three credits of Health Science is an approved substitute for the
required one-half credit health course.
