Substitute Opportunities

Substitutes are an important part of our school system.  A substitute is a person serving in the place of an absent employee or in a vacant position.

Each substitute type has specific requirements that must be met in addition to successfully passing a background check.  For substitute requirements, please contact the specified employee or department listed below.

Substitute Teacher

Current Pay Rate -$60/Day   

Substitute Bus Driver
If you are interested in becoming a substitute bus driver, please contact the Transportation Department at 256.734.2933.  

Current Pay Rate -$48/Day  
Substitute Bus Aide

Child Nutrition Substitute

Substitute Nurse

Office / Custodial Substitute
