Child Internet Protection Act
 
Cullman County Schools are in compliance with the CIPA.  In accordance with CIPA all Internet access is
filtered and policies have been established for the use of Cullman County Schools computers, servers, network and Internet
resources.
 

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
 
Cullman County Schools utilizes several web-based software applications and services operated by third parties. This may include Edmodo, Google Apps for Education, and other web-based services to enhance student learning. In order for our students to use these programs and services, certain personal identifying information, generally the student's name and email address, must be provided to these web services. Under COPPA, these websites must obtain parental consent before collecting personal information from children under the age of 13.
 
A list of sites that may be used in our classrooms, with links to their privacy policies and terms of service, can be found below. At any point, Cullman County Schools may expand the use of web services to include some that are not currently on this list.
