The Elementary Book Fair was another huge success, even with all the talk of recession. Our community and library raised over $900.00 in funds and we received about $200.00 in free books (which is always a bonus). We took this money and put into replacement, requested, and continued series books. It took every bit of it to fill this order. We are now looking for ways to purchase Accelerated Reader tests which are $3.00 each. Any suggestions on another fund raiser is welcomed to pay for these!

It’s Wonderful! The library may be accessed from HOME!!! Go to the following address to see what books your child has access to and what the the grade level and Accelerated Reader points are for each book: http://coldspringselem.booksys.net/opac/coldspringselem/
Click on the Open Book to get to the AR items. You may look by points or by grade level for your book. Or type the title if you just want to know the points or grade level! Type in the Minimum Reading Level and the Maximum Reading Level to find all the books in your child’s grade level.. Ex: 1.0 and 1.9 for First Grade, 2.0 and 2.9 for Second. .O equals August and .9 equals May.
