Recycling Program!

    The Library / Media Center is continuing its recycling program to raise money for technological advancement.  We are accepting used laser and inkjet printer cartridges, as well as used cell phones, to be recycled.  If you know of businesses that do not already participate in a recycling program, please invite them to donate these items to our library.

    Recycling is paying off!!!  With what Wal-Mart Distribution has donated to us this year, we have made more than $400 on cartridges.  Please continue to save the large and small cartridges for us as well as cell phones.  This money is helping provide for items such as bulletin board paper,k laminating film, paper, ink cartridges, and other items no longer allowed for purchas through our enhancement money.  GREAT BIG THANKS  to all of you for continuing to support us in this project.

Laminating machine

    Good news!  You are now welcome to use the laminating machine for all projects.  At the present time, thanks to recycling we are not restricting use of the machine.  We also have the poster maker/copier with paper in the library for your use.  This works well when enlarging a map, drawing, or other item that you would like to display in your class room.

    Gently used book drive

The library has just received two donations of books that combine for more than $2,000 in value.

These are excellent books that are in new condition.  We appreciate the graciousness of the individuals. who made these donations.  We welcome book donations, and they are considered tax deductible donations.

Wal-mart Distribution Center has donated a 27" color tv and 2 DVD/VHS players to the library.
