Art Exhibit

     Please announce to your students that the library will be displaying art by our

students March 23rd –April 3^rd.  Students who would like to have their art displayed need to bring the piece that they would like displayed to the library Thursday, March 19th or Friday, March 20^th. (Work will not be accepted prior to these dates.)  We will be featuring art by Koral Myrex along with that of our students who are presently attending CSHS. Please mark this on your calendar and come down to view the exhibit.

Native American Artifact Exhibit

Our thanks go to Mr. Lemeul Mauldin for taking the time to show a small part of his collection to our students. Students and teachers enjoyed this special presentation which also gave them the opportunity to see a petrified tusk and jaw bone of a wooly mammoth.

 Computer Lab Check List and Orientation

The check list and orientation should be ready Thursday. Teachers will be given a copy of procedures to follow and will receive a brief orientation which should help things go smoothly for everyone.

$$$$$RECYCLING$$$$$
The library is continuing the recycling program through Funding Factory.  We will be collecting cell phones and laser/ink jet cartridges again this year.  This money helps purchase supplies and consumables that we are not allowed to buy with the library enhancement funds.  Please ask friends, family, and businesses to donate.  There is a recycle bin in the front office for cell phones and small cartridges.

Thanks to all of you who have donated books to the library.  If we have overlooked giving you your receipt, please email me and I will do that right away! Please encourage your students, friends, and family to donate books to the library rather than selling them in yard sales.  These donations are tax deductable

SCHOOL SUPPLY STORE IN THE LIBRARY !!
Please feel free to let us know of supplies that your classes will need, and we will try to stock needed items.  This helps the library and students not to have an excuse for not having note cards, pencils, paper, report covers, etc.

Copyright Laws
If you were not here when we gave out the copyright guide sheets, please let me know that you did not receive yours.  We have a new book on copyright laws in our professional development section to answer any questions that you may have concerning this subject.
