Springs High School and got her Associates Degree from Wallace State before
going to Jacksonville State University, where she obtained her Bachelors
Degree. She has taught for ten years and is currently the Family and Consumer
Science Teacher and the sponsor for FCCLA.

Fashion
dynamics provides opportunities for students to explore historical costumes,
research current fashion styles and trends, analyze fibers and textiles, design
clothing and accessories, utilize technology in fashion design, an explore
career options in the fashion industry.

Parenting
Human Dynamics explores human
growth and development throughout the entire life span with special emphasis on
the unique needs of children. The students participate and observe headstart
children.
Food Dynamics
Food Dynamics
allows students to explore the relationship among food, nutrition, fitness, and
wellness while preparing foods creatively. The course consists of the one-half
credit Food and Fitness course and the one-half credit Creative Foods course.


Family Dynamics
Family
Dynamics class is designed to assist students in recognizing the roles,
responsibilities, and importance of the family. Course content provides
opportunities for students to explore family, food, clothing, housing,
financial, and consumer needs throughout the life span. Additional concepts
include goal setting, etiquette, table setting, marriage readiness, parenting
issues, balancing work and family, making decisions as a responsible young
adult, assessing effects of technology on the family, and exploring career
options related to family life.


Art Dynamics
Art Dynamics
Class is for students who are interested in acquiring knowledge and skills in
art production and design in the areas of culinary arts, fashion design, graphic
design, industrial design and interior design. Course content provides
opportunities for students to explore ways to use materials and supplies safely,
to produce artwork, to apply the element and principles of design to works of
art, to study cultural and historical time periods, and to become more aware of
how art relates to their daily lives.
