Mrs. Parker’s Class

My name is Audrey Parker and I am the resource teacher at West Point Elementary School. I look forward to working with your child this year.

My curriculum is guided by the Alabama Course of Study and individualized to meet the unique abilities of the children I serve. I follow Individualized Education Programs (IEP) that were developed in the spring.

This year I am excited to have two paraprofessionals hired to work with my students in the regular classroom setting. Your child is receiving one-on-one or small group instruction from the paraprofessional at least 30 minutes daily in the regular classroom. Your child may come to me to receive additional help as outlined in his/her IEP.

With your help, I hope to create a positive learning environment for your child.
