1^st period – Mrs. Adams’ 8^th grade Science class

2^nd period – Mrs. Knop’s 6^th grade Math class

3^rd period – ½ Mrs. Wood’s 6^th grade Reading class and ½ Computer Lab with Reading Academy

4^th period – Mr. Robertson’s 8^th grade History class

5^th period – Academic lab 8^th grade Remediation

6^th period - Planning

Tutoring is available before and after school in the Academic lab. This is sponsored by a federal grant through Wallace State Community College. Tutoring sessions are provided before school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning from 6:15 – 7:45 A.M. and after school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:15 – 4:30 P.M. For students to see if they are eligible for this program; parents must completely fill out and return an application.

I am married to John Yarns. I live in West Point. I have two grown children and two grandchildren. My son and his family live in Battle Ground. My daughter and her family lives in Fayette. I have a Bachelor of Science in Education from Athens State University. I have a Masters of Arts in Education from UAB. I have a Masters in Collaborative Teaching 6 – 12 from UAB.
