Mary Jo teaches music to grades K through 5.  Prior to coming to Hanceville Elementary she taught middle school and high school band in Duluth, GA and Haleyville, AL.  She graduated from Hanceville High School and attended college at Auburn University, she later attended Athens State University where she became certified to teach grades K-6.  She plays the organ at her church and some of her hobbies include reading murder mysteries, working in her flower garden, and playing in the Cullman Community Band.
