Announcement

03/08/10

Thanks to everyone who turned out for the lock-in and thanks to everyone that participated in the Guitar Hero 5 Tournament.  Everyone did a great job.  The winners were 1st Place, Alex Randau; 2nd Place, Tyler Edmonds; 3rd Place, Jonathan Godwin.  T-shirts for everyone who was at the lock-in are being ordered and will be here in about a week.

Tomorrow is the final day to enter the PIdol contest.  The contest will be this Thursday.

You can pay $1 to Mrs. Lisle and cast your vote on which teacher you would like to see get a pie in the face on Pi Day.  That will also enter you in a drawing to see who throws the pie.

There will be a meeting in the library today for the contestants of the Miss Enhancer pageant during 6th Period.  You will be called when it is time for the meeting.

The band will be going to a Music Performance Assessment at UNA on Wednesday, March 17th.  They will be gone all day.

Other Info:

Teachers, be sure to check roll every period.

Remind students that the lane closest to the school is for buses only and remind them not to sit in the hallway or stand in the front doorway in the mornings.

The following needs to be taken care of BEFORE school:

Enrollment forms (for getting driver’s permits), bus passes (include the first and last names of each student, the bus driver’s name, and the bus number), notes for absences (Be sure to include your first and last name and the date of the absence.), and change for break, lunch, etc.

Teachers, remind students not to leave their books lying around or on top of lockers.  There is a fine of $1 for library books found lying around.

Special note about work permits: The process of getting a work permit begins with the employer, not the school.  An employer needs to give the student the form to be filled out and signed by parents.
