Fourth Grade

Our fourth grade teachers are Mrs. Hill, Mrs. Harris, Ms. Clayton, and Ms. Sandlin.

These are some of the activities fourth grade students have to look forward to in the 2009-10 school year:  In November we have a Veterans' Day program, we study Alabama History all year, In April we go to Montgomery and Ft. Toulouse.  This year the fourth grade went to the first annual ground water festival at Wallace State.

Children coming into the fourth grade should be able to write in cursive.  They should also know their multiplication tables, the whole problem, not just the answers.  So you know what that means, study, study, study.

Over the Summer school break student should READ, READ, READ.  Mrs. Jones will have our VES Media Center open to one and all on Thursdays for students to check out books.
