Thank you for visiting the Vinemont Elementary School website.  We are a K-5 school and are very excited about the accomplishments of our students and what our school has to offer.

 Faculty and staff work to make our school a respectful and safe place for learning.  We help our students learn how to become respectful, responsible, caring, fair, trustworthy citizens through the Character Education program provided by the State Department of Education. 

Vinemont Elementary teachers hold high expectations for all students and take responsibility for providing a curriculum that meets the needs of students at all grade levels. We are using the Accelerated Math Program in grades 3 – 5 this year and hope to expand it to other grades.  The Alabama Reading Initiative has made a difference in the reading ability of our students.

 Parents are always welcome at school and are encouraged to participate in their child’s learning.  PTO meets monthly and is open to parents, grandparents and friends of our school.  Teachers may be contacted by e-mail or by arranging a conference through the office.
