The goal of the West Point After School Program is to provide a safe, wholesome environment where children ages kindergarten through eighth grade can remain after school for parents to pick him/her up.  The program will allow the children to be in a safe, supervised and educational atmosphere for a designated time.  This will prevent the children from going home to an empty house or daycare setting.  A staff of certified teachers and substitutes supervise the program.  The teachers will be available to help the students get started on their homework, provide storytime, and playtime.  A school-like atmosphere will be maintained but it will be a more relaxed time.  The West Point Elementary After School Program has been in existence for 8 years.

Parents who wish to enroll their child/children will need to supply the following:

1.  Registration is $10.00 per family

2.  Child care costs are:  1 child.....$5.00 per day

                               2 children....$8.00 per day

                               3 children....$11.00 per day

                               4 children....$14.00 per day

                               5 children....$17.00 per day

3.  Registration papers will need to be completed before children are allowed to stay.

4.  A copy of the child's/children's social security card and a copy of an insurance card must be provided.
