Children receive at least 30 minutes of music instruction per week. All students in grades K through 5 attend music class.
Activities include singing, playing instruments, and dancing. Students are taught to read rhythm and pitch and also learn about music from different historical periods and cultures.
Plays, musicals, and concerts are given throughout the year. We are currently planning for fall (Halloween) and Christmas.
The Chorus is a group of students from 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades that performs at a variety of events throughout the year.
