Science.....More Fun than a Barrel of Molecules!
We are so excited about our new Science Lab at West Point Elementary. Phase one is near completion with the indoor classroom lab and Phjase two will begin soon which will include an outdoor classroom area and a greenhouse. We know that you will want to participate in making our Science lab the best it can be!
Heading up our classroom is Mrs. Laura Harris and Assistant Principal Shane Barnette. If you have any resources available for use in construction our outdoor area and greenhouse, please give us a call. We are looking to have a garden area for the students to plant and cultivate the soil, a greenhouse for growing our plants, and also an area for various flowering plants, shrubs, walkway, and benches to observe the outdoors. We also want to include an outdoor weather station with different weather instruments, and a butterfly house!
Of course, we are always encouragged by your monetary donations. If you would like to donate to this project, please specify outdoor classroom on your donation.
The indor classroom is also in need of various items. A listing of items is included if you would like to donate.
