Fast Track was started in Cullman County in 2006.  It is a federally funded program that encourages students in grade 10 to apply to college early. A select number of high school students attend Wallace State and earn college credit and high school credit FREE!   Some of the requirements include:  attending a meeting with Fast Track Representative, passing all the AHSGE subjects in the spring of the 10^th grade year, good standing at the local school, and an overall 3.0 GPA.
