TAP stands for Teacher Advisory Program.  This curriculum evolved from the Making High Schools Work philosophy that all schools can succeed. This is the first year that West Point High School has had a teacher advisory program.  Homeroom teachers are assigned the same group of students in grades 9-11th and monitor their academic progress, career possibilities, and college options as they progress toward graduation.  In the 12^th grade, students are assigned a specific advisor to help with pre-graduation activities and etc.,  We are very excited about this new program at our school and hope that it improves student performance and communication between the home and school.
