This is Mr. Barnette's twelfth year in education. He obtained his B.S. in Comprehensive Science from Athens State University. He obtained his M.A. and Ed.S in administration from U.A.B. Mr. Barnette spent several years teaching science at WPH before accepting the assistant principal position at West Point Elementary School. He served three years as assistant principal before being appointed principal at WPI. |

Mr. Barnette has been married to Kristi Barnette for twelve years. They have three children, Ethan, 10 years old, Caleb, 9 years old, and Noah, 4 years old.
Hobbies:
Mr. Barnette enjoys spending time with his family and being involved with church related activities.
