Education
Mrs. Yearwood earned her B.S. Ed. in
Specific Learning Disabilities at Athens State College in
1998. She earned her M.S. Ed. in School Counseling from
the University of West Alabama in 2004. Mrs. Yearwood
taught Special Education at West Point Middle School for 7
years before coming to West Point Elementary and High
Schools as a guidance counselor in 2005. Currently she
serves as a guidance counselor for West Point Intermediate
and High Schools.
Family
Mrs. Yearwood is
married to Heith Yearwood. They have two children
which are both students at West Point.
Hobbies
Mrs. Yearwood enjoys spending her
spare time painting. She also enjoys attending and
supporting the school athletic events/programs.
