Hanceville Elementary School was recognized Thursday at the Alabama State Board of Education Meeting for an extraordinary accomplishment - earning a place among the Top 25 Most Improved Schools in the state!
The recognition follows a monumental achievement for Hanceville: a remarkable 16-point gain on the state report card in just one year. The significant increase reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of the school’s students, teachers, administrators, and families.
As part of the Legislative School Performance Program Award, Hanceville Elementary received an $8,000 check in recognition of its progress. The funds will support continued efforts to enhance student learning and academic success.
