Cullman County Schools Host Successful 2026 County Golf Tournament
Cullman County’s golfers took to the course for the 2026 County Golf Tournament, showcasing impressive talent, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit across all divisions. Schools from across the county competed in varsity, junior varsity, and middle school levels, producing a strong field of champions and standout individual performances.
In the Varsity Boys division, the Good Hope Raiders claimed the county championship title, with the Vinemont Eagles, who finished as runner-up. On the girls’ side, the West Point Warriors captured the Varsity Girls championship, with Fairview earning runner-up honors.
The Junior Varsity divisions were highlighted by strong performances from West Point. The West Point Warriors secured both the JV Boys and JV Girls championships, while Good Hope (boys) and Fairview (girls) each earned runner-up finishes.
At the middle school level, Hanceville emerged as the Middle School Champion, continuing the school’s strong tradition of developing young golf talent.
Individually, several athletes stood out with exceptional performances. Ty Peppers of Cold Springs earned Low Medalist honors for Varsity Boys, while Brooklyn Sutter of West Point was named Low Medalist for Varsity Girls. In the JV divisions, Luke Kelly of West Point took top honors for boys, and Clara Welborn of West Point led the JV girls. The Middle School Low Medalist was Owen Robinson of Vinemont Middle.
The tournament also recognized the season’s top performers with the selection of the All-County Teams.
