Bulldogs, can you believe that we are now less than a week away from 1st Day 24-25?! Be sure to get your supply lists, buy your parking permit, and get ready for another great school year in the 'Ville!! (Btw: Don't forget about Open House on Aug 6 from 3 to 6 PM.)

Please make plans to attend the Open House at HHS on August 6 from 3 to 6 PM. Parents and students will have the opportunity to meet teachers and see classrooms as we prepare for the 2024-2025 school year. 9th Grade through 11th Grade will meet in the HHS gym from 4:30 to 5 PM and seniors will meet in the HHS gym from 5:30 to 6 PM.

Attention HHS Seniors - just a reminder for the events of the day tomorrow (May 16). Keep in mind that you will need your caps and gowns for the walk-through but not for the practice. We look forward to seeing you on your last official day on the HHS campus as a student.

Thanks to all the great folks in our community showing love and appreciation to the HHS faculty this week by providing breakfast and lunch everyday! Thanks for your support: McDonalds, Advanced Rotors, Exxon, Taco Bell, the HHS Leo Club/Daylight Donuts, Pop's Place BBQ, the Cleek family, Dale's, the HHS SGA, and American Fabricators.


The seniors collected the most spirit points throughout the school year, earning points for pep rallies, service projects, and dress-up days. The students enjoyed a school-day trip to the Birmingham Zoo this week.


HHS will celebrate two events this Sunday, May 5, at Hanceville First Baptist Church. The National Honor Society will hold its induction ceremony at 4 PM and the church will honor the HHS Class of 2024 with the Baccalaureate at 5 PM with refreshments to follow.

If you want to be on the HHS Softball team next year, you must sign up to try out. The sign up sheet is in the main HHS Office. Tryouts will be held after school.
