4th grade trip

Our 4th grade students are gearing up for an exciting and meaningful field trip to Montgomery, where Alabama history truly comes alive. This annual trip gives students the opportunity to step beyond the classroom and experience firsthand the places they learn about all year long.

During our visit, students will tour the Alabama State Capitol, where they will learn about state government and important moments in our state’s history. They will also visit the White House of the Confederacy, exploring what daily life was like during a significant time period in Alabama’s past. New this year, we are thrilled to include the Rosa Parks Museum, a powerful, hands-on experience that helps students understand the impact of the Civil Rights Movement and Rosa Parks’ role in shaping history right here in Alabama.

All three stops are highly interactive, allowing students to actively engage, ask questions, and make meaningful connections to what they have learned in class. Year after year, students say this trip is one of their favorite experiences because it makes history real and unforgettable.

In order to make this field trip successful, we are still working to raise funds to help keep the cost affordable for all of our students. If you know of a business, organization, or individual who would be willing to sponsor or donate toward this educational experience, please let us know. Any support is greatly appreciated and helps ensure our students can continue learning about Alabama’s rich history in such a memorable way.

Thank you for supporting our 4th graders and their journey through Alabama history!
