Cullman County Schools began Peer Helpers last year. It consists of two parts: PATHS and Peer Helpers. All schools within Cullman County Schools participate in Peer Helpers totaling over 350 students in grades 2-12th.

On Friday, middle and high school Peer Helpers met to continue developing skills that enhance students becoming effective leaders and mentors. Students spent the day developing leadership skills, problem solving abilities, and addressing practical ways to be a positive role model within the school and community.

Students are selected as Peer Helpers by an application process and then chosen by their school leaders. Peer Helpers on each school campus are responsible to serve as leaders in many ways that benefit the school and area. This week, Peer Helpers are instrumental in leading school-wide campaigns that will benefit Curt's Closet.

We are so thankful for our CCBOE maintenance department! These men have worked hard to get Good Hope Elementary ready for students on Monday, and the quality of their work shows.
