The Cullman County Sheriff's Office is investigating following a shooting in the Baileyton community. As a PRECAUTION, Parkside along with all Fairview campuses are keeping students inside while the CCSO investigates. All students are safe... again, this is only a precaution.

Stephen Briscoe of Hanceville Middle School just won the 2023 Alabama Spelling Bee! To our knowledge, this is the first time Cullman County has had a state winner since 1988! Stephen will now represent Alabama in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington!

Following today's National Weather Service briefing, Dr. Barnette has decided to have a remote learning day on Friday, March 3, 2023. Cullman County will be under a rare high wind warning beginning tomorrow. We are expecting sustained winds 30-40 MPH with gusts 50-60 MPH, well above safe operating conditions for school buses. The NWS says to expect - and be prepared - for downed trees and power outages. Students will be provided assignments to complete tomorrow.
The 3rd annual Christopher Owens Memorial 3 on 3 Tournament is coming up this weekend. All proceeds go to a scholarship in Christopher's name.
